UDF is restless on seeing the BJP leaders going to Sabarimala and getting arrested. Neither can they fire up the issues like BJP nor can they stay away from it. It is then that the UDF leaders met up in Kochi and decided to climb up the political hill. It was not only as a fact finding team but they were also ready to be arrested. Just as they imagined they were blocked at Nilakkal by the police. But what can be done if the police strongly stood by the stand that they would arrest none of them? With the simultaneous chanting of Lord's name and cries of slogans, the first stage of protests came to an end. We can't question the devotion of Sangh Pariwar who conducts hartal on Mahanavami day and Vrishchikam 1. Even though they are politicising devotion, nowadays they are hardcore devotees. Usually some of them use to ascend Sabarimala once in the Mandalam season but now they are camping at the hill shrine. Vakradrishti. New Delhi: The Supreme Court Tuesday expressed deep anguish over the purported leak of CBI Director Alok Kumar Verma's response to the CVC's findings against him as also the publication of allegations levelled by agency's DIG Manoj Kumar Sinha in his separate plea. SC has adjourned the hearing on Alok Verma's plea challenging the government's decision to divest him from his duties as CBI Director, to November 29. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, which reheard the matter at the request of senior advocate Fali S Nariman, who is representing Verma, made it clear that the court would not hear any party and would confine itself to the issues red flagged by it. Miffed over the alleged leak of Verma's confidential response to CVC's findings, the bench, which also comprises Justices S K Kaul and K M Joseph, said that it wanted to keep the CBI Director's response confidential to maintain the probe agency's dignity.

She added that the government has declared war against the devotees and also said that she would file a case on human rights violation. She also alleged that no facilities are provided at Sabarimala and hence the police are stopping the devotees from entering the shrine so that people will not come to know about this.
