Chennai: Following the claims made by the state government at Supreme Court on Friday over Sabarimala women entry, women devotees from Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have come out denying the claims in the list submitted by the Kerala government to the Court. The natives of Andhra Pradesh, who ascended Sabarimala temple post the SC verdict, have confirmed that they are above 50 years. Chennai native Sheela asserted that she is 52 years old and not 49 years as recorded in the government report. According to her husband, she entered her age incorrectly while doing online registration prior to her pilgrimage to Sabarimala. Earlier this day, the government claimed at the Court that 51 women of menstruating age entered Sabarimala since the Supreme Court verdict and submitted the list including their name, phone numbers and Aadhar details. As per the list, most of the women devotees belong to Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
